db audioware Introduces Quantum FX 2.5 With Universal Binaries

db audioware has released version 2.5 of its flagship software modular effects system. The upgraded package includes Universal Binaries and major enhancements to the Quantum FX Workbench.

"We wanted to make Quantum FX fully accessible to the Mac community," said Dave Brown, Managing Director of db audioware. "We also know that Workbench users are developing plug-ins for increasingly demanding applications, so we added the analysis tools and enhanced graphic support with them in mind."

The major new features of Quantum FX 2.5 include:

• Universal Binary for Mac OS X
• Workbench Analysis Tools - Oscilloscope & Spectrum Analyser
• VST 2.4 support
• Support for PNG graphics, with alpha masks (variable transparency), for plug-in GUIs

Quantum FX 2.5 retails at USD 299 | EUR 269 | GBP 189 and is available for immediate purchase and download from the db audioware website.
