The Berlin-based software development company zplane.development present z.matrix, a surround sound tool for the CreamWare SCOPE platform.

z.matrix enables you to pan up to 16 sound sources between up to 16 loudspeakers. Signal sources as well as loudspeakers can be freely positioned and moved. This can be done directly with the mouse or via MIDI, using any MIDI controller or sequencer. In addition to many other features, z.matrix also offers a grouping function, a Doppler effect and distance-dependent volume automation.

Tim Flohrer, chief developer at zplane.development: "z.matrix is ideally suited for surround productions with any given configuration of speakers. Its intuitive user interface and the stability of the SCOPE DSP platform make z.matrix a powerful and reliable tool for live use as well."

z.matrix is now available as a plug-in for SCOPE /SP and Pulsar II under Windows as well as MacOS. It is distributed exclusively via the CreamWare Online Shop. The price is 498 Euro (approx. 423 US$).
